Near the end of the episode, we see Amy Jessup typing on her computer. She is writing about the case files and equating them with Bible verses. Here is what she typed…
I think that the typewriter in this episode of Fringe warrants a closer look. I have a lot of questions, not only about the typewriter itself, but about the entire scene.

- First of all…Why is it that you can only see the typewriter keys depress in the mirror? That would mean that the mirror must also be ‘magic’ and not just the typewriter…wouldn’t it? If the mirror allows us to see into another world, wouldn’t we then also be able to see the hands that are typing? If you took the mirror away, would the typewriter still work?
I was kind of hoping to get a clear shot of the Observer in this episode. The rumors floating this summer were that Michael Cerveris may not be appearing in Fringe this season, and I was hoping to discover if that was true or not. Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell if this is him or not.

Sorry I have been gone for so long, but it’s been a busy summer and unfortunately, it’s not over yet. I will be out of town until Monday, so I don’t even get to watch the first episode of season 2.
