Observers Are Here Blog for fans of J.J. Abrams’ show Fringe

It was a rough episode for poor old Walter.  A rollercoaster of emotions and revelations.  And the cherry on top – so to speak – is his reward at the end of the episode.  He gets scooped away by our bald, spicy-food-lovin’, barely-sayin’-a-word…Observer.

The big question for me, wasn’t so much, where.  He’s going wherever the Observer goes when he’s not here, and that’s a question that’t been beaten to death.  My big question was why?  Why oh why oh why??

Are Massive Dynamic and ZFT friends or foes? This should be an easy question to answer…FRIENDS…William Bell is the founder of Massive Dynamic and he funds ZFT.  What more do you need, right?  Wrong.  There are some things that don’t seem to add up for me.

#1 – The manifesto.  OK, so William Bell wrote the original and then ZFT ripped out the pages on ethics to make the manuscript suit their needs.  This would lean more towards ZFT being some sort of rogue group.  A faction that has strayed from the original goal perhaps for money or power, who knows.

#2 – Harris seemed to be working for Massive Dynamic.  He was very upset when he found out about the investigation into MD.  And when Jones turned himself in to the FBI, Harris was very hostile towards him.  Harris obviously knew Jones, there are pictures of him all over  he wall of the warehouse where Harris was running his tests.  This also seems to be confirmed by the scratched out photo of Jones.  You don’t scratch out the face of a colleague who has died or gone missing.

Olivia slips in and out of a parallel universe in this week’s episode – “The Road Not Taken”.  I have a lot of questions about that other world.  First of all…where are the blue lights?  She’s travelling between dimensions, shouldn’t we see funky blue lens flares?  The scenes that take place on the other side do have a blue tinge to them, so I suppose I will have to settle for that.

A couple weeks back I wrote a post on the frequency of the Number 47.  I know that I said I would put this to rest, but what can I say…it’s just in my face.  I honestly believe there might be more to it than it’s just  J.J.’s favorite number.  It seems to be most prominent around the people who were tested on with Cortexiphan.  Here are the 47s that I found this week in “The Road Not Taken”.

If anyone read the material Di found on the Rinri Project and The Thirteen Moons In Motion and how it related to the red-yellow-blue pattern that has had us chasing our tails, there is something new I would like to add.  Below is a picture of Jose’ Arguelles‘ wheel, based on his 13 month calendar.

I studied this wheel closely, looking for something to connect it to Fringe, but I didn’t find anything.  Then the other day, I was revisiting the, probably fake, Cortexifan website, just to see if anything had changed.  It has, the main page is different and there are several links.  Mostly they loop around, and lead to fake advertising, but that’s not what interested me.  On the main page, down at the bottom, the symbols where the links are looked familiar…

The information states that the line means ’5′ and each dot means ’1′.  So these would be variations of ’6′ and ’7′.  I’m not sure what it means.  Anyone?

Please forgive me if these symbols have actual meaning, not related to Fringe.  I am not that internet or computer savvy and I am probably stretching the limits here, but they did seem rather similar.

I am also curious about the number just above that...FC167FE1AB2E0A9796F9E4D155B44EA6998F4871.  For those who are interested, if you click on the first symbol, then go to the address bar and type in ‘cortexifan’ after the last backslash, it takes you to a document page with contains the original list.  It’s a little different.  Now it looks like this…

We know COR would be cortexiphan, TS08 is test subject #8, TT initials of test subject, 81 would be the year they  were tested on, and N or P means positive or negative. But what is KR?

OK. so I went to see an early showing of Star Trek.  Amazing movie, by the way, I recommend it highly.  But that’s not what I want to talk about.  You know what I saw in the Star Trek movie?  Blue Lights.  Not just any blue lights, but OUR mysterious Fringe-lights!  What the Fringe is that about?

So one of two things is happening here:

.

#1 – The blue lights in Fringe don’t have any hidden meaning.  They aren’t little Eater Eggs for us to figure out.  They are just special effects that J.J. Abrams seems to like to use.  A new found look.

OR

.

#2 – There is some sort of connection between Star Trek and Fringe.  J.J. has thrown an Easter Egg into Star Trek for us Fringe fans.

.

I do have a theory, but I will not go into when and how the lights in Star Trek were used, and what the connection to Fringe might be, until the film has been officially released and you have had a chance to see it.  But when you do get to the theater, keep your eyes open, and then get back here and tell me your theories.

Dr. Boone, when talking about ‘XT43′, said that it was designed to show off.  Show off to who (whom)?  Show off to the Observers?  Would the meaning of that statement be more accurate if he said ‘to intimidate’?

I am bouncing this theory off of the Quantum Physics theory about parallel universes.  Could it be possible that ZFT is actually trying to help the human race?  If they know about the Observers, and they are aware that both worlds will be destroyed, or they know the Observers’ intentions, then perhaps they are just trying to let the Observers know…’We are not unprepared.’  ‘We will fight for our right to survive.’

For those who might not know, I have a theory about the color pattern of Yellow-Red-Blue.  I believe it’s being done on purpose, although, I have not yet figured out why.  You can read the original post HERE, the first update HERE and last weeks update HERE.

I suppose I might be wearing this topic down a bit, but I truely believe that there is some hidden meaning with the colors they have been showing us for the last few episodes.  I found two obvious shots of the color pattern this week, although they are not in the same order as we have previously seen.
