The Observer was spotted at a Naascar race April 5, 2009.
The Observer – 114
It was nice to see the Observer up close this week. For a while now, he has just been a tiny blip, and although it’s just for a split second, there is no doublt that it’s him. You can see him as the newspaper stand man stumbles through the crowd…

The Observer – 113
This is my best guess as to where the Observer is this week. On the soccer field just before the plane crashes…look close…he is very tiny.

The Observer – 112
This week you can see the Observer on the sidewalk as Olivia drives by…

I am re-posting my Observer find with an update…thank you to Linda and laachi for finding two other possible Observer sightings.
thanks
I originally thought this wass the Observer, but I could not find any other screenshot that had his face or figure. J.J. Abrams is getting very good at hiding him. If anyone has found a better shot of him, please let me know.

Here is a screenshot, as per Linda‘s great score…I think she might be on to something. I’m not sure how he got into the FBI building unnoticed, but he looks directly at Olivia, which is more in keeping with his MO.

In the FBI building
laachi has noticed this shot at Loeb’s house, just before Olivia knocks on the door…

TV Guide reveals hints about The Observer
TV Guide article featuring an interview with Fringe executive producer, Jeff Pinkner, who gives hints about the Observer:

The article reads:
Who is the Observer
So who the heck is the Observer? Only Fringe’s most mysterious character. “First off, you have to question the premise that there is only one,” says exec producer Jeff Pinkner of the figure–played by Tony-winning actor Michael Cerveris–who seems linked to the drama’s pattern mythology.
Observer in every episode
Well, whatever he is, or they are, it’s weird. The Observer has been in every episode; jotting down notes in code, exiting elevators seconds before they crash or simply being creepy. And while we do know he rescued Walter and Peter from a freezing river after their car fell through the ice years ago (“He seems to be fine in extreme situations,” hints Pinkner), the hairless wonder’s interest in Olivia remains murky. “He’s observing things that might not have great meaning to Olivia or to us as citizens of the planet…yet,” Pinkner says. “He’s aware of a larger context.”
Learn more in upcoming episodes
Pinkner promises fans “will learn more about [him] in upcoming episodes.” Until then, he’ll only say the Observer’s “agenda is certainly influenced” by Walter’s experiments, both past and present. And we’re not dealing with a time traveler. “He’s of our time. He just may not be of our place.”

The Observer watches football.
It seems that J.J. Abrams is taking his show to the next level. The Observer, and not Michael Cerveris, was seen observing the Giants/Eagles game Sunday. As the camera passes be him, it seems quite obvious that this was set up for ‘Fringe’ fans, and I’m not disappointed. This is just one more reason why this show has my vote.
For anyone who has not been able to see The Observer in hiding in the episodes…here is video showing exactly where he is for the first 9 episodes…

The Observer
I had to watch it a second time to catch him this week…he wasn’t hanging around behind the actors, as he normally does. This time he was hidden on the monitor at the beginning of the episode. Very sneaky J.J…
What is Extensalife?
After Mark Young gives his presentation at the beginning of the episode, we can see the computer screen. On it is name ‘Extensalife’…
