Pattern cases yet to come

Easter Eggs | Fringe - 103 The Ghost Network | Next Episode Clues | Theories & Speculation | Posted by Scully

As I was watching Episode 3 “The Ghost Network” again (for the umpteenth time), I remembered that at Roy’s apartment there were shots of artwork and models.  The model of the plane crash we knew about, but the others, at the time, held no meaning…

Now that we’ve seen more episodes, I believe Sketch #2 was a clue to Episode 6 “The Cure”…

Near the end of “The Ghost Network”, Broyles hands Olivia a file with a photo that was also in the lab notes for that week.  Broyles says “Of all the models in Roy’s apartment, three of them are incidents that we haven’t been aware of.“.  Here is the photo he gives Olivia…to view full size click on image

This kind of reminds me of the smoke glyph…is that a cemetery in the background??

So now, I am really excited to see if episodes in the future will refer back to Sketch #1, Sketch #3 and the model of the house.

Wasn’t there actually five cases they didn’t know about and not just three?

    1. sketch 1 – can’t tell what that is
    2. sketch 2 – the woman (they didn’t know about her yet)
    3. sketch 3 – looks like a cable car or train car
    4. the model of the house
    5. the photo of the car

Unless 2 of had already happened, and they just didn’t tell us about them.

Sketch 1 also looks like a house. I think you can see a fence as well as windows. Is that a giant Worm? I hope not. Maybe two of them are cases that already happened, but they will refer back to them in another episode.

Well the one of the woman and the blood goes in Walter’s lab notes for the “The Cure” so you were right on that one.

I have to theories on the broken house:

    1) It has a red roof, like the “castle” in “The Equation.”

    2) The broken house reminds me of Loeb’s house (though I don’t know why, because they are quite different). It’s torn in half, with half still standing and half fallen. The house of Loeb is half dead, translates to the Loeb family is half dead, i.e, his dead wife.

Regarding what Broyles says, I don’t think he means that they don’t recognize three, I think he means that the models correlated with three cases that already happened but they hadn’t known about or linked to the pattern before. I think he actually says “hadn’t” not “haven’t.”

The man in the limo reminds me of the solidified gas, Walter’s “amber,” used on the bus in this episode. Speaking of which, the solidified gas reminds me of Aerogel, an extremely light, silicon-based material that is translucent and is known as “Frozen Smoke.” It seems to me that this was the writers’ inspiration for the method of the bus attack. The gas was literally “frozen smoke” and was silicon based.

    1) looks like it refers to Unleashed – that worm thing you can see matches the monstrous hybrid thingy pretty well…
