What’s with the sock?
When Agent Loeb falls to the floor…you can see some sort of symbol on Broyles sock…
I believe those are skeleton hands on the wings of the butterfly…no idea about the significance. It might be a prelude or omen of something that will happen in upcoming episodes…
When Peter is talking to Nina, you can see a pin on her shirt. It looks like a Reef Knot (Square Knot)…
Remember the symbol on the kayak, that I thought was ‘Aleph’…

Do you remember the kayak from Olivia’s dream sequence that had the ‘Alpha’ symbol on it? Well there were also these three green dots and one red dot…
In the opening credits, if you go frame by frame, you will see the Greek Symbol ‘Phi’ on the frog…
Remember the end of ‘episode 2′ when Walter fall asleep and dreams of three men in a room, that appear to be clones…
In Olivia’s dream sequence, when the kayak floats across the screen, you can see a symbol at the tip…
Alpha on kayak
Alpha
Alpha: (uppercase A) The first letter in the Greek alphabet. Although this is not technically the symbol for ‘Alpha’, it is derived from the Phoenician letter ‘Aleph’. This is actually the symbol for Aleph. Alpha is used to refer to ‘the beginning and the end‘ or ‘the most significant occurrence‘.
So
So my question is…are they referring to the beginning of a new series…the pilot episode? Or are they hinting towards a particular ‘Happening’ (perhaps involving the kayak) to being the most significant or the beginning of the ‘Happenings’? Does it have something to do with Olivia’s uncle?

This one is a long shot, but, in the opening credits, it sure looks like the ‘Aleph’ symbol again.
