The Note:
Walter’s thoughts on his past experiments on Roy, as well as a sonnet. He refers to the shape of the room containing the laboratory but doesn’t what the shape is.

There’s something about how Walter when explaining the rabbit/duck picture repeats, “It always goes back to the duck.” I’m fairly certain this is a clue, but to what I have no idea.
