The Note:

Sodium (atomic symbol “Na,” atomic number 11) and potassium (atomic symbol “K,” atomic number 19), mentioned in the text about Joseph Meegar’s ionic transport system, are in the Group 1 (alkali metals) on the periodic table and, in physiology, both are electrolytes.

The following text is the first stanza of “I Sing the Body Electric,” by Walt Whitman, poem number 19 in his collection “Leaves of Grass.”:

I sing the body electric

The armies of those I love engirth me, and I engirth them:

They will not let me off till I go with them, respond to them.

and discorrupt them, and charge them full with the charge of the soul.

“The divinatory message of the card is of a fair-haired man or one associated with Art or Law. It may also represent a man who is favourably disposed towards the querent or, in a more abstract sense, refer to the arts and sciences or any sphere which involves creative intelligence.”

    From wikipedia.
