I had to watch very closely for this clue…it wasn’t as obvious as some of the others have been.  At the beginning, just before they zoom in on the newspaper stand you can see the yellow symbol at the very top of the screen…

This is foreshadowing the yellow pine tree air freshener hanging in the “Artist’s” car…

J.J. Abrams used his birthday (6/27) in the show…does this number perhaps have meaning for him as well?

This might simply be where Olivia went to school.  She brings it to mini-Observer, so he will have something to wear, very nice of her.  But if I was going to do that, I would grab something clean for him, not something from the laundry bin, so maybe there is something more to it.

The griffin is a fantasy creature with the body of a lion and the head and often wings of an eagle.  If you check out the Spoiler section, you will understand my thought that this is the next episode clue for 116.  But My question is…what about the other tattoo…does it have any meaning?

We have seen these words before.  In “The Arrival”  A ‘beacon‘ came out of the ground, and in “Safe” Mr. Jones teleports to ‘Little Hill‘.  There is an actual town in Massachusetts called Beacon Hill…so it may have no meaning at all.

I might not have thought much about this, if the phone number wasn’t fake.  In the television series ‘True Colors‘ it was the phone number for ‘Capitol Cap Co.‘, but I don’t see the connection here. Anybody have any ideas?

In Walter’s lab notes this week, he mentions several mnemonics.  After some quick Googling, I was able to find the meaning of some of them…

Thanks to Di for suggesting that the blurry photos in Walter’s lab notes might fit together like a puzzle.  After a little manipulation, you can clearly see that they do fit together.  Good eye Di !!

I have inverted it so we can see the possible shapes that this might be turning into.  I have no doubt that there will be more pieces to this puzzle.  Anybody have any theories as to what it might be?

No guesswork this week as to where the Observer is…

…What I do wonder is…Is this child an ‘Observer’ as well?  There certainly seems to be a resemblance.

The Images:

include the orange vinyl record of Al Green’s ‘Love & Happiness‘, The fax that “The Artist” send to the FBI.

There are also some yellow M&M’s, a book containing information about Marie-Angelique Memmie LeBlanc, and a strange grainy photo, similar to the one seen in the lab notes for Ability.

The Note:

The notes appear to have been typed using the same typewriter from Ability with the elevated ‘Y’.
The note paper has been crumbled, opened and smoothed for presentation.
Walter refers to Lethe. In Greek mythology, Lethe is a river in Hades. Those who drink from it experience complete forgetfulness.
Marie-Angélique Memmie Le Blanc featured in the book in the notes, was a genuine feral child.
